About the Artist

Chasing dreams, one step at a time.

South Orange County based artist Diane Ohnemus has been enhancing her skills as an artist for the past several years. The pandemic gave her a chance to paint every day allowing her to leave her career as a nurse of 41 years behind. Her interest is in figurative work, working mostly in oils, watercolor, and conte crayon. She studied art at Saddleback College and has taken workshops most recently with Stacy Kamin, David Leffel, Kathleen Hudson, and Keiko Tanabe. Many of her works are in private collections in Hawaii, Texas, and California.
